Canada's 1720 Nova Scotia mahone bay oak island pirate tale that was once told, but the story my vary slightly?

Late one evening lights were seen burning on Oak Island of the year 1720. Local legend at the time alleged that pirates were burying bullion treasure. Area fishermen were curious.
